Yes. FreedomOne is installed at the home’s main water supply so connected faucets receive filtered water for drinking and cooking, as well as showers and appliances. It is intended here for treated municipal water. It is not a purifier, does not remove every contaminant, and does not make unsafe water safe. Some outdoor lines may be bypassed; we’ll confirm your plumbing layout.
Will FreedomOne soften my water or remove all spots?
FreedomOne is a filter and conditioner. It helps reduce scale formation, but it does not remove dissolved hardness minerals. It does not deliver the same result as an ion-exchange water softener, guarantee spot-free surfaces, or promise to reverse existing buildup. If your priority is removing hardness, ask us about a softener.
How often does the filter need to be replaced?
Plan for filter replacement every two years. Actual replacement timing depends on your water quality and household usage. AmeriFree will confirm the service schedule for your application.
What does installation involve?
Your installation depends on the existing plumbing, location, access, and scope of work. AmeriFree will review your home and explain the installation process before you decide.
Does it need electricity? How much room does it need?
The FreedomOne FO1981 does not require electricity. The tank body is approximately 37.5 inches high with a 10.3-inch cap diameter; connections add height. Allow additional clearance for plumbing and cartridge replacement. We’ll review the installation location before recommending the system.
What warranty comes with FreedomOne?
The supplied FreedomOne FO1981 cut sheet lists a five-year manufacturer warranty on the tank. Coverage and exclusions for other components and media must be confirmed in the written warranty. Ask AmeriFree for complete warranty terms with your quote.
